Unfortunately, your site will probably not appear on Google right after you have it made by itself. Although I always try to follow best SEO practices while making any site, to increase the chances of getting on Google, I always recommend “an initial SEO fix” to help work out the kinks on the backend and increase the chances of you getting seen.
This add-on feature namely includes a preliminary audit, on-site SEO, and off-site SEO services that will help boost your chances of ranking. Let’s get you ranking.

Includes a Preliminary Audit: Initial analysis to identify SEO areas for improvement. Explores through third-party auditing software and Google Search Console information.

This is what I call “the big guns,” and these strategies are used after an initial SEO fix.
Each “big gun” strategy is predicated by a 20-minute intermediate audit of past reports, a competitive analysis, and a content gap analysis. Based on this analysis, one of the following suggestions below might be made. Further comprehensive audit will be involved during the landing page or blog post strategy process and are included in the pricing.
LANDING PAGES

This landing page is designed to target a specific demographic or location that is not being currently captured by your main website. Landing pages include a competitive analysis and keyword research, and vary in length/content based on findings. This price includes a 3-month follow-up analysis and discussion on next steps to improve the page as necessary.
Blog Post Strategy

PER SESSION
This involves curating a list of 12 blog post topics (to last about 3 months) with brief 1-2 sentence descriptions of what each topic should entail. These topics are SEO focused with the goal of making your site increase in its authority and capture new keyword markets. Posting weekly is recommended although posts can be made less frequently based on the business’ budget and capacity.
"RIDING SOLO" BLOG POST

In-depth, SEO-optimized 1000-1500 word blog posts, fully researched and written by the designer. Content and photos are fully created, researched, and created by the designer.

Note: Although I have ranked many sites, because more competitive markets are harder to rank in, I cannot guarantee rankings for extensively competitive markets.
FAQs
For web/domain hosting, I tend to recommend Hostinger (for WordPress/Elementor), Wix, or Shopify. Generally, I design using the builders Elementor (for WordPress), Wix, or Shopify.
I have chosen to mostly use these platforms due to their versatility and available SEO tools. Even if you do not plan to have SEO, ecommerce, etc., I always recommend a site that gives you the options so you don't have to rebuild later.
If you do not see your platform listed above, contact me! I might still be able to design for you or advise which platform will fit your needs.
I do not require a website to subscribe to a backup service or malware protection, but I do highly recommend to prevent hacking/malware (it's happened to some of my clients before!) or website restoration if your site breaks (also something that has happened to my clients).
Wix and Hostinger automatically backup their sites regularly. Shopify can provide backups through third-party platforms. If you wish to use another platform, let me know and we can discuss options for backups and malware protection.
Maybe. I leave this up to the discretion of the business owner. If you have a highly regulated industry (like the medical industry), I do recommend using it to protect yourself and your business.
